A great way to find out more about our programmes is to attend one of our free open evenings which are regularly held both in Bray and online. Open Evenings are presented by our director, Richard Burton. Current students and graduates may also be there to answer your questions.
The face-to-face open evening lasts about 90 mins and includes an overview of the Institute, our programmes and courses, including study format, content, weekend dates, time commitments, exams and other assessments, awards, qualifications, fee payment options, etc.
The new profession of Nutrition and Health Coaching is presented, and the rewarding opportunities for graduates discussed. Nutritional Therapy is then explained, including its origins, development, professional accreditation, official status, career potentials, etc., and how Nutritional Therapists differ from Coaches, Dieticians and Nutritionists.
The informal presentation is followed by a Q & A session. If you wish to enrol on one of our Nutrition & Health courses, you can be interviewed at a later date.
No need for registration at a face-to-face open evening, just come along.
Our next Open Evenings will take place on:
Monday, May 14, 2012 @ 6.30pm
Thursday, May 31, 2012 @ 6.30pm
Online open evenings work just like a Skype meeting, you can log on to the internet and listen to a presentation by the Director. You can than ask questions and get involved via text chat, microphone or telephone conference, whichever suits you best.
Our next Online Open Evening will take place on:
