Ingredients
- 100 g Jumbo oats
- ½ level tsp cinnamon
- Pinch salt
- 1 tbsp golden linseeds flaxseeds
- 300 ml water
- 80 g blackberries small handful
- 1-2 tsp Manuka honey
- 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt opt*
Method
- Mix oats, cinnamon, salt, linseeds, water and Manuka honey in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Next day, bring to room temperature, combine with the Greek yoghurt if using. Top with blackberries and an extra drizzle of Manuka. Enjoy!
Maggie's Tips
• I enjoy my oats made with water but if you want a creamier version use milk, nut milk or coconut milk.
• Vary toppings and flavours: blend in nut butters, or add stewed apple or rhubarb, or prunes
• Vary berries; add chopped nuts, dried fruits, vary spices: cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric, etc.
• Can be prepared 2-3 days in advance.
