Chen Murphy

Nutritional Therapist & Lecturer for NT Programme
Chen Murphy holds a Master of Science in Personalised Nutrition, graduating with distinction from CNELM in 2015. Her journey in nutrition began with a qualification as a Nutritional Therapist from the Institute of Health Sciences (IHS), Dublin, in 2011. Shortly after, she established her personalised nutrition practice in Galway, where she works one-on-one with clients using the Functional Medicine Model.
With a special focus on inflammatory diseases, women’s health, vitality, and the mind-body-behaviour connection, Chen brings a holistic approach to her practice. Beyond clinical work, she contributed as a research assistant in the Department of Physiology at the National University of Ireland, Galway.
Since 2017, Chen has been lecturing and leading modules in Personalised Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy at both diploma and master’s levels. She recently enhanced her teaching expertise by completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching for Higher Education at Middlesex University.
