Maria Plaias is a Dublin based qualified Nutritional Therapist and operates an online international private practice. She’s training as an Advanced Functional Medicine Practitioner with the Kharrazian Institute (6 years of courses and clinical training ending in 2024). Prior to this, she earned a Master’s Degree in English & Postcolonial Studies in Italy and a Master’s Degree in Italian & French in Romania.
In her nutritional therapy career, Maria has done further training in complex digestive issues like SIBO, immunology, dysglycemia and hormones and her areas of clinical expertise include autoimmunity, thyroid health, female hormonal imbalances, blood sugar dysregulation and digestive health.
